A SMASHING SUCCESS

THE GALA DINNER, REINVENTED — WITH A RECORD €1.4 MILLION RAISED

This year’s fundraising goals for the Grand Dîner du Louvre have been achieved – and surpassed! We are pleased to announce that the Musée du Louvre’s annual benefit dinner has raised over 1.4 million euros for the museum.

The colours and textures of the exhibition ‘LOUVRE COUTURE’ filled the soirée, made possible with the generous support of founding partner Visa Infinite. More than 350 guests arrived for a dinner crafted by Michelin-star chef Anne-Sophie Pic in the spectacular Cour Marly, at the very heart of the museum. For the second part of the evening, roughly a thousand people gathered to enjoy an after- party under Ioh Ming Pei’s famous Pyramid. Recent Grammy winner Doechii wowed with an unprecedented showcase to close out the night.

The Louvre chose to schedule this new Gala Dinner not only during the ongoing ‘LOUVRE COUTURE’ exhibition, but also on the first day of Paris Fashion Week, which brings many notable figures to the French capital. The Gala Dinner has been designated an official Paris Fashion Week event by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion).

The event’s initial fundraising goal was set at 1 million euros, but thanks to the near-universal support from fashion houses and the loyal friends and patrons of the Louvre, the total received quickly surpassed this target for this first-ever reinvented Louvre Gala Dinner, set to return in 2026. On the guest list were business leaders, designers and artistic directors from the most exclusive fashion houses, as well as other notables from the worlds of fashion, music, and cinema.
